Drawn in by grace, reaching out in love

Bement Camp
The transition from childhood to adulthood is as important in the Church as it is in the everyday lives of our youth.
The Middle School and High School Youth Groups continue the lessons of childhood through a more mature exploration of their faith. Both groups meet each Sunday during the first half of the 10:00am service, then come into the service to share Eucharist with their family.
This age group takes its direction from the Journey to Adulthood curriculum, moving from Rite 13 (grades 6,7,8) to J2A for the high schoolers. Meaningful discussions, based on scriptural reading, allow our young people to express the joys and challenges of following Jesus Christ.
Youth in grades 10 and 11 can be a part of preparation for the sacrament of Confirmation.
Youth leaders also know the importance of social interaction and fun when building relationships among our youth! Overnights, outreach projects, and special trips are all a part of our youth program.
Our Diocese offers children a premium summer camp and school vacation experience at the Bement Camp and
The Church of the Atonement feels blessed to be in compliance with the Safe Church Policy recommended by our Diocese.
